“Shapely Spectrum Origin” BAB Dress

Description

Designed for the “bigger at the bottom” body shape (also known as the “pear” shape), this dress highlights the upper half of the body.
The patterned top, sweetheart neckline, and puffed sleeve are all designed to accentuate the upper torso while the darker contrasting shade of the skirt allows all attention to go to the upper body.
The elbow length sleeve point to the defined waist that Bigger at Bottom women often have.
It also has pockets!!

Fabric content
The polka dot fabric is cotton, paired with a polyester skirt rescued from landfill and purchased via West Acukland Resource Centre.
The bodice is lined with up-cycled cotton.
Due to the imperfect nature of rescued materials, there is a faint faded line on the front of the skirt, reflected in the lower price. You can not see in pictures as it is so faint, however pictures of it close-up can be provided on request.

This is a size XL (in G-Gee’s sizing)
Measurements;
Bust: 125 – 130cm
Waist: 107 – 112cm
Hip: Up to 145cm
Please note that this sizing is different to industry standard as a sizing chart has been made individually for each body shape. Your sizing chart is available on request.

Custom made/designs
This is available in three colourways (other two modeled in the group picture), prices differ slightly due to fabric used.
The pink combo has a slightly darker contrasting shade for BAB, BAT, straight and diamond shapes in keeping with the design (see last pic).
They can be made to your measurements at no extra charge.
It is also available in custom (choose your own colours) design – there may be a slight extra charge for this option.
